Really good book. Loved the story and the different perspectives. A little predictable but not terrible.

While this wasn't an incredibly thrilling read, it was entertaining enough. I'm not one who usually sees the ending coming, even when everyone else talks about how predictable a movie or book was. However, early on I could see where this was headed and how it would end. The thing I didn't expect was how mild the story was. When I'm in the mood for a thriller, I'm in the mood for a *thriller.* This book never had me anxious to see what was next. If I could go back in time, I would spend my time on a better book. But as it stands, it wasn't a terrible book.

We listened to the audiobook. I don’t tend to like that format but I’d purchased more than a few before I really realized my preference. I started listening to this not even remembering when or why I got it. I didn’t expect my boys to get into it but we all got hooked listening on our long drives to grandma’s house and back again. I’m didn’t know what to expect and didn’t have high expectations but the book was quite lovely. We really loved the relationships and the mystery. There was just something so cozy and satisfying about Sharon and Niki.  It’s true the Fleming mom was over-the-top, but I’ve known people like her so not that far-fetched. Anyway, I’m looking forward to maybe buying another audiobook of the author’s just to have another experience like this.

Don't come at me... But this is the first book I DNF in a while. I got through to chapter 11, and could not make myself read anymore. The book is intriguing, there's no doubt about that, but I think it was just the style of writing that I was having trouble with. I'm going to go back and try to reread this particular book though.

Slow for most of the book, but the ending was great!

Felt slow the first 3/4 of the book with mostly character development, but the last 1/4 was very fast paced and written amazingly!

Such a great read

This was such a heart-warming story. I had so much heart invested in sweet Mia and poor Jacob. The storyline was so good.
