I felt so many emotions throughout Mia and Jacob’s story. Shock, heartache, grief, hope and joy. This was truly a moving story for me and I can’t wait to read another from Karen McQuestion.

Loved this mystery that kept me coming back for more. It’s a classic, “what did I just see through my window?” thriller.
Read in one sitting. I loved that this story was inspired by a true crime story the author had read about. These topics are hard to talk about but this was a wonderful way to bring attention to a real issue without the harsh details. I loved the combination of characters and the relationships formed!!

Oh my, such a great book. I had to force myself to take breaks from reading it. I needed time to digest the information. The characters were very believable. Things all worked out, but it was not sappy.
