Kristin Hannah never fails to deliver immaculate world building, leaving me completely encompassed in her universes. This was my first novel by her that is not historical fiction. It was wonderful, beautiful, tragic, and enchanting. However, I have to admit I prefer her historical fiction work. The Four Winds remains my favorite.
