Another great read from Kristin Hannah. Such an original story line executed with her usual aplomb. And yep- she made me cry again.

Overall great read. This book had it all… a mystery, a murder, a love story, and a plot that wasn’t everything you’d expect. I loved the characters and really felt invested in the developing relationships between Alice and her new eWorld after emerging nameless from the woods. This one tugged on my heartstrings and also infuriated me at points. It’s a book I would recommend.

I have read a lot of Kristin Hannah and this one was very thought-provoking and emotional for me. Highly recommend if you have not read it.
Feel it’s more like 3.5 but feeling generous. The first half is definitely very interesting as it borrowed the idea from histories of children being found on the wild or raised by nature and animals. Couldn’t put it down Ending was a bit meh. The lack of details on her parentage, the perpetrator and motive left gaping holes in the storyline.
