A quick, fast-paced read but there wasn't much depth or nuance to this story. The main character's decisions didn't feel very realistic, especially in the first half of the book. By the last half, I could see why the author had her make those decisions, but they still didn't make much sense except that they served the plot. I liked the premise of the blizzard trapping the characters in one place and creating a kind of "survive the night" type of story. The villains were very two-dimensional.

This book was gripping and tense. Just enough character development where the book didn’t go on too long. Yes, Darby makes stupid errors, but remember, she’s had little to no sleep and is running off 6 Red Bull’s and crappy coffee. Don’t pretend like you’d be firing on all cylinders. Not to mention she’s no detective. Please tell me what you would’ve done in her shoes. I’ll be waiting
