I gave this book 2 stars because I finished it, but it was pretty bad. Usually, I like books by this author, but this was awful, and the female narrator was just annoying and overly dramatic. The dialogue was stilted and ridiculous as were the scenarios.

Stace Williams aka Mac and Roshina Vikinos aka Roshelle Myers found love for each other in an unorthodox way. Roshelle, being at the wrong place at the wrong time has been kidnapped by Mac and his men have spent time together inside the ship. Surely, it does look like a love story born out of Stockholm Syndrome. But turns out that both have reservations about getting revenge for their loved ones killed by the same ruthless crimelord. Their passion and promise to protect each other have forged their loyalty and plan to have a peaceful future. Their relationship has been tested during their run and even faced a near-death moment. In the end, they finally achieved to have their HEA after 2 years.
This book got me hooked with lots of action, suspense and hot chemistry between the two characters. I have enjoyed it immensely.

No rating since I only made it to 33%. I didn't love the direction the book took. I couldn't find it to be believable and had a hard time taking some of the scenes seriously. I felt like the FMC's character would completely change chapter to chapter. That coupled with the pacing and confusing structure of conversation made me put it down.
Also forgot to add that there's slut shaming in this. I'm sure each author has a reason for doing this, I just can't think of a good one so I immediately get turned off.

Wow what a crazy wild ride!!
Bad boy book boyfriend
Suspenseful Thriller ~Dark Romance ~Retired Marine
~Murder witness ~Kidnapping ~Container ship
This ain't just your run-of-the-mill romance. Nope, it's a rollercoaster of a ride.
Watch the heart-fluttering swoons sweep you up with all that juicy passion.
Buckle in, though, the fast-paced container ship which is of course filled with tons of illegal mafia goods on board. Ride along through with Mac and Rochelle on this crazy adventure living their lives like there’s no tomorrow. It hooked me so deep I didn’t want to leave.

Play Along is not your typical T.L. Swan novel - it's romantic suspense. If you're into mafia type stories, then you will enjoy this book. It doesn't include a mafia per se, but it has mafia-like elements. The plot held my attention the whole time and I did not see the twist coming towards the end. There's a bit of Stockholm Syndrome going on so it can be uncomfortable to some people - just be aware of that.

Not sure exactly what I think of this book. Had a lot of twists and turns, very Bonnie and Clyde, but ya, not sure what to say on it.
