This book is in the realm of give it a good 100 pages before it catches you. I wish there was a bit more development, BUT I also haven't read the rest of the series. I have them on hold in the library now.

I found this book in the depths of my kindle, realising I started it months ago, reached 1/3 and abandoned it. I don't like unfinished books and I have plenty of them atm, so I decided to start clearing the list with this one.
I hated Jude (but I usually dislike main heroines) and I didn't care much about the plot. I suppose the only enjoyable part was Cardan being forced to answer Jude's questions, and we know he can't lie.
I will probably still read the rest of the series tho
