Un slowburner como he visto pocos (hasta el punto que un fanatico de los slowburners como yo casi pierde la paciencia). La ambientación gótica es muy destacable (casi al punto de deprimente): una mezcla de los paramos de Wuthering Heights y la comarca pastoril mas hosca de The Wicker Man.
Las últimas escenas son inimaginables en su horror aunque la desvastación que podrían causar están atenuadas por una delicadesa que otros autores posiblemente no tendrían.

I honestly just got bored and wandered off. I normally like a slow burn but this one wasn't grabbing me. I may try it again later; I own it.

I did not like this book and have decided to give up on it for a while. I will try to pick it up again when I am older.

The writing was very good, however it was the plot that I was no longer interested in the further I got into it.
