Ironically, I found that this book had a lot less heart than the first installment of the Lost & Found series. I adored Nina’s relationship with her siblings and thought Logan and Jada were the sweetest kids. But I just wasn’t here for the romance. The insta love was too much for me, and I reeeeally wasn’t an Isaiah fan. I feel like I was being told how in love they were and how good they were together vs. actually seeing it. I also really disliked the “villains” in this story and the way that Isaiah interacted with them. It just felt like a weak attempt at adding stakes to the story, and if I was Nina, I think I would have kicked him to the curb tbh.
