Ich lese äußerst selten Thriller, wahrscheinlich ist es einfach nicht mein Genre…Für mich waren die Wendungen in der Geschichte recht vorhersehbar und nicht überraschend. Auch die Protagonistin ist in ihren Charakterzügen oberflächlich und hat auf mich leider keinen sympathischen Eindruck gemacht.

I needed something light after reading a couple of heavy books in a row — I deserve something easy and digestible! Maybe it was too digestible because this was SLOP!
I was treated like an IDIOT from the get go — the author spells absolutely everything out for you. If I was hooked up to an EEG while reading it, the line would have been absolutely still. Characters BORING! Plot PREDICTABLE! It was genuinely so unoriginal in every way — hello verity? Hello gone girl?
If you’re going to write this shit then at LEAST make it entertaining. I hate Colleen Hoover and if I’m saying she can write better books than you please just hand over your pen right now….
This was really harsh but I’m sick of slop crap books being overhyped 🙁 guys please there’s so many good books out there…… please I’m begging you branch out……….. you can……….
On a final note they’re making a movie out of this book. It’ll be bad and I will be seeing it. People contain multitudes!

Listened on a road trip with my husband- very fun and we had a great time theorizing as it went on. We kept laughing at how much the men in this book were described as “handsome.”
