2.5 star audiobook - I listened to the audiobook and the narrators did a good job. It wasn't a bad book but to me it took a while to feel like the actual story started.
DNF at only 3%. Starting a book out of a women being kidnapped, sexually assaulted and her enjoying it is too much for me. How about some character or plot building first Jesus

I know shouldn’t be into it… but I was very much into it. ❤️ it’s like a nice, baby version of dark mafia romance which I think is more my speed. The woman was not disrespected and a lot of authors don’t know know how to tow the line between dark and abuse. I’ve read too many books where the woman felt no pleasure and only pain and fear when with her partner. Why would I want to read that? Anyways, now that I’ve gone on my mini rant for the day, I liked the book. The action was a little all over the place, but the romance? *chef’s kiss*
She’s a politician’s daughter, he’s a mob bosses son, of course they fall in love when he kidnaps her. Super easy and fun read. The plot twist was predictable and they fall in love rather quickly but I didn’t read this for a strong plot or slow burn. It is spicy enough, the FMC is not a damsel in distress and the MMC has an adorable soft spot for the FMC.

Very short story. Zero character development. Creepy Stockholm insta-love that made no sense and was 110% unbelievable. Predictable. Kept waiting for it to improve…. Should’ve been DNF.
