This was awful. Also, dragged it and left it with a cliffhanger. I should've DNF'd it when I thought of it in the beginning.

(3.5) Not a bad book, it more of a bully to lovers romance…the cliff hanger got me. I thought this was a stand alone, but there were parts where I knew I’d need to read others to understand some of the plot point. Be warned, you will have to read the next to see what happens.

Eden O’Neill sure knows how to write ‘em! After reading the last series about Sloane and Dorian, I was not prepared for the direction this book went in but I’m so happy it did. I love a good fake dating trope and it was so fun to see these boys and all their toxic, morally grey-ness on display once again. Our FMC gave as well as she took and that ending has me foaming for the next book!

The writing is terrible. Tried to give it a fair chance but the simplest sentences were hard to read.
I kept going back and forth with this book to understand it. I couldn’t. A lot of twists, and the rollercoaster of emotions wasn’t a smooth one, it was a bumpy ride and I felt MEH throughout the whole thing. So, it’s a no for me.
