I don't know how Sandra Brown does it but she manages to make me fall in love with two people who in turn have miraculously fallen in love with each other over the space of 24 hours (I usually can't stand the concept of "Instalove!") and find themselves caught up in a bizarre turn of events and on the run for their lives. Oh and did I mention that the Hero is always ruggedly handsome.
I couldn't wait to get back to reading this in every spare moment, eager to race through to see how it ends and yet when I got the end I was left disappointed and bereft that I will have to wait a whole year for my next Sandra Brown experience.

I love Sandra Brown’s novels. Tailspin is typical Sandra Brown-mystery mixed with a little romance, rugged hero and heroine who doesn’t really need saving but falls for hero anyway, good guys and bad guys, and usually set in the South (who doesn’t love a southern hero?) I thought this storyline was good and had lots of plot twists. I listened to this on audiobook and I have to say it was the worst audiobook ever! I don’t know who the narrator was but he sounded like a cross between my Uncle Ernie and Matthew McConaughey and while I love both of them, I don’t think either would make great narrators! Not sure I’ll listen to another Sandra Brown audiobook but I’ll definitely be back for another good read.

I used to love Sandra Brown books. Not sure if I’ve changed or her writing has. The plot was good but the romance part just seemed very immature. People don’t fall in love in 24 hours. Lust yes. Love no. And the trauma that made Ryes character wasn’t really justified. Spoiler Alert -
You take a nap and get assigned a different plane hardly makes you responsible for someone else’s error.

Not the best of Sandra Brown novels but an enjoyable read. Funny in parts, thrilling and romantic.

I liked Lethal better, but another page-turner, if you need one.

Really good read. The story was pretty predictable and frustrating with the monotony at times. However, it goes at a good pace and is enjoyable. I’m glad I read it.
I admit, I put off reading the book for a while. I would read a few pages, then put it away, and start it up again. I just wasn't ready. It took almost a year, but I finally took the time to really delve into it. It starts a little slow, but it gets going after a couple of chapters. I see from other reviews that some people did not like this book, most notably the short 48-hour timespan of the story. Fans of Sandra Brown know that this type of writing is not new. I don't have a problem with this.
