Surprisingly more enjoyable than the previous installment and it was fun to be in the mind of a werewolf. The romance was fun and the twists were amusing.

Brilliant! Hilarious!

There's a lot that I liked about this story. I enjoyed seeing Mo and Cooper and a lot of the characters that we fell in love with in the first book make an appearance in this book.

The storytelling was excellent and the rhythm made for a good snappy pace. It was enjoyable. The chapter titles are hilarious. "Dante Hosts A Baby Shower in the Seventh Circle"; "Of Mistaken Identities and Wounded Ass Cheeks".

I also liked the references to pop culture, which really gave the story a sense of "now" and a good laugh.

"Didn't I show up when Mo had her pup and present my new niece to the pack like Simba in the damned Lion King?"

"A picture of my cousin Samson made it into National Geographic the year before with a caption calling him "magnificent specimen". He'd been carrying the damn article around in his wallet for months, using it to impress werewolf chicks."

I guess if I were to criticize this story, it would be that the "voice" read similar to the previous book and MH other book "And One Last Thing..." Considering that in these three books that I've read by MH the protagonist were different women sharing the same voice was a bit weird at first, but after a few pages and opening my mind to the story being told, I was able to picture the new character clearly.

The two are sweet and there's equal balance between the main characters; conflicts are resolved quickly instead of three chapters of "I can't believe you would do this!" miscommunication. Wasn't a big fan of Maggie in the first book but was pleasantly surprised by how her character develops here. Liked the check-in on the couple from the first book. Still enjoyed the prequel more though.

Completely lost it laughing in public at the moment when Maggie realized she claimed Nick as a mate with a bite on the butt!

Well-written, hilarious and humor is quick and interesting.

Would have been 5 stars if I wasn't so ashamed of myself for having to take a break from trudging through some more serious books such as divinci code and fellowship of the ring. The audiobook is very animated which is such a breath of fresh air!

For some reason, I did not find this book to be quite as good as the first and third books in the series. They story was slow and the chemistry between Nate and Maggie just was not as hot as I was hoping. Still a fun book though and I highly recommend the series overall.

THIS was a really fun book! I loved the sass of the main character. Smart mouthed and tough as nails until you try to pluck her uni-brow. I loved the drama and I loved the plot development.

This book was also a gem because it made me realize why I heart my "vampire porn" so much. The books that I really enjoy and the characters who I really love are the one's who go through hard stuff and A) Grow from the experience and B)Maintain a sense of humor. There is nothing worse than spending hours listening to or reading about some "poor me!" chick who lets life bend her over a fence and have a go at her. Maggie (main character in this book) might be a little slow on picking up the clue phone - but she actually evolves in this book. She goes through some pretty awful stuff and keeps a really good sense of humor about everything. AND she is a bad ass.

Laughed out loud several times. Smiled a ton. Loved the Star Trek and Dr. Who nod. Yeah. Really liked this book.

As a bonus - the person reading the audio book did a really good job.

Maggie is a brilliant and funny heroine who is the perfect alpha to her pack, even though she has doubts about that. Nick is the perfect hero for her, and their relationship is a perfect combination of romance and danger. It's a wonderful book that I highly recommend!

Moly Harper has a new fan! I have to read her other books. Her sense of humor is spot on. I can't count how many times I laughed out loud reading this as well as the first book of the series.
