What I Loved: If ever there was a book boyfriend for me, it is Nick! He is smart, geeky (talking Star Trek and may have invented a game similar to WOW-geeky), research nerd, and all around hottie (forgiving that blonde thing, I just ignored it)! I fell in love from the moment he hit the page and never looked back. Loved that he knew that he wanted Maggie from the beginning and never was ashamed of that. Oh sure, he was adorably awkward at times and sometimes blunt but they just added to his charm!

What I Liked: Maggie, which by the way was a big leap. I did not like Scrappy Doo much at all in the first book. This one she grew on me but it took awhile. Once she did though, I was really rooting for her and Nick. The side story, which I won't giveaway, was done really well too. In a pack/tribe mentality type of way, I thought it rang true and the resolution was fantastic!

Complaints: None

Why I gave a 3.75: I liked the first book a smidge more than this one so I had to rate them different. This one is going into the snort club too though and was a highly enjoyable read!

Who I would recommend it too: PNR readers who like the lighter fair and aren't afraid to laugh!

I went into the book having lowered my expectations - all the reviews said so. The book was messy in a way.

Maggie, brother to Cooper from the previous book is the lead for the book. When a new PhD comes in to research on werewolves, Maggie gets roped in to "handle" him. There is an attraction on both sides when they first see each other. But, to Maggie, being an alpha IS her life. Everything revolves around it. Which is fine and good - lovely to see a heroine whose life does not revolve around the love of their life. The problem is that too much of the going-on focuses on the alpha-stuff and the love story is a additional story. I don't get why they even love each other. I'm not shown the stage where it goes past like, lust and to love. It's a one big jump. Nick is a cardboard, albeit an handsome but a cardboard nonetheless acting as Maggie's love interest. At the end of the day, I can't even come to care about their so-called relationship.

For a supposed person who fought to be an alpha, she sure is dumb. Maybe she likes being an alpha, maybe she understands the responsibilities but she doesn't seem to put them to practical use. And she keeps yelling most of the time - either at Samson, Nick or anyone (except maybe her mom). She is not likable which is fine if she could have acted with more sense and not veering towards the TSTL line. The best saving grace of this book and the reason why it ended up 3 stars is the prose. The dialogues were very witty. The world-building good. Both of these made an enjoyable read.

So this book starts shortly after the end of the first. I was a little skeptical at first because it was focused on Maggie, Coopers sister. She was such a b**** in the first book, and I wasn't sure I could like her character. Although it wasn't as good as the first, it was good and Maggie grew on me. Nick was great, funny, kind etc. I would of liked to know more about Kara, but she isn't clued in on the whole werewolf thing so that probably wouldn't of worked. I am just assuming, but I bet Samson is next. Maggie fights for her right to be the alpha of the pack, since Connor isn't interested. After a few close calls, and a couple of betrayals I think she might work it out. Didn't get a lot of info on Eva either. (Mo & Connors baby)

I stumbled upon Molly Harper ages ago. I won't lie... I judged a book by it's cover (and it's hilarious name). How could I not want to read a book that had such a fun name? I work in marketing, so that kind of pull in is exactly what we look for in an ad! So, true to my nature, I decided... why not? Let's give it a read!

I am now on book two of the Naked Werewolf series. The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf is a fun paranormal romance that packs comedy, drama, and romance all into one book. It's a fast paced read with a really nice style and tone that kept me engaged. This kind of book is exactly the kind of read I look for! Not too serious, but also loads of fun!

In this book, we follow Maggie Graham - the resident Alpha of our werewolf pack. She's rough and tough, and the strong female character we all want and need in our reading life. In walks Nick Thatcher, a Ph.D. wielding stud who is researching... you guessed it... werewolves. It's kind of awkward at first, but Maggie and Nick clearly have a spark between them. But, things are getting worse. Maggie has lots of men eying her to be their bride and have their wolf pups, and there's a group of rival werewolves sneaking around... Maggie and the pack will figure it out, but at what cost?

This lighthearted book was exactly what I needed. This is such an underrated gem that is hiding away. Molly Harper is a great romance writer and made me smile. And, best of all... a sexy nerd! WOO!

Four out of five stars.
