The tension between the love interests was steamy, however the dedication read “you'll have to have a string of pearls nearby to clutch blah blah blah” It did NOT live up to my expectations considering this dedication. There were a few spicy scenes but NOT THE KIND I WANTED.
However, our FMC tending to the MMC heavy wounds was DELICIOUS and I loved the tension during that part. The only reason it didn’t get 4 stars was because I was sad about the lack of spice, considering I WAS PROMISED IT :(

Jesussss what to say about this one. Summed up it’s dark kinky retelling of beauty and the beast. And boy did it deliver!
We all know we all kind of have a crush on beast anyway so this just hits the spot.
Started reading not realising it’s a series until the very end and damn am I happy I got more than one book of Finley and Nyfain!

It was alright, it has potential, but it is missing something. I didn’t feel the emotions that I would have hoped, it was a little bland for my taste in some parts. The developments of the characters relationships is not the best. I mean, I see a connection but it’s not there yet. It is still too shallow. Given the book is only short of 300 pages I can see how that is possible. I am hoping the next book is better and the relationship and the character development improves. The plot itself has enough potential that I will read the next book
