This was....this was something.
The language...wtf 😆 it's a bit much in my opinion. Takes me out of the story cuz it's so ridiculous. But otherwise I'm intrigued. But it's a lot of s*x talk, A LOT.
And I can't really got a grip on how they lived before the curse. They had electricity, coffy, jeans and could print paper? So was it sort of like our normal world, or still "old worldy"? 🤔 I just couldn't get a clear picture of anything. And together with the way they speak makes it feel very modern, but I'm just confused.
Besides all that, I did find the story interesting, and I think I like the characters so I'm invested enough to keep going with this series.
But it is kind of a mess 😆
I think this is a "guilty pleasure" kind of series. You can't expect good writing but you're here for the vibes and smut 🤷♀️

I was expecting the spice level in this series, but was really hoping for a little more romance and plot. :,) A little disappointed but will still continue on and see how the overall plot develops.

not really, they don't really have that kind of relationship yet.
Honestly I didn’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t… this. It’s not a good book, nor is the story good or compelling. The sex scenes and erotic talk were often more funny than sexy or erotic. BUT, I had a really good time. Much of this book was funny to me where it probably shouldn’t, but who cares. I enjoyed reading it anyways. 2,5 stars.

It was a retelling but I didnt get much fairytale from it. It was very spicy and the spice didn't help the plot
