I read about 60 pages but the lecture was excruciating! Then I DNFed. I won't waste my time with a book I don't like and FMC who I can't stand. Do people actually like that book?
The reviews said how "The protagonist is funny", etc etc etc. Surprise! She wasn't funny at all only trying harder to be "different". Of course, as a teen she invented a cure for some diseases, of course, she was 180 cm tall, of course, she was the most desirable in her village and crap like that. Yada yada yada.
There were sexual scenes which made me uncomfortable because of how unnecessary they were, e.g. the incubus scene at the start,
The book felt like a fantasy written by a 13-year-old on Wattpad and it should have been digital because fucking trees were involved! Poor trees could have been used for oxygen not for this fucking book.
This book left me with a bad aftertaste, like the day after eating garlic.

not my favorite writing style but i enjoyed this a lot
So I liked the story and description that the writer told but I kept getting frustrated with the spicy scenes. I was 250 pages in, even though there was some action, but there was never consummation until a lot later. Other readers called this book spicy but its more mild to my taste.

On the fence for this book. World felt too convoluted, fmc was the most beautiful and clever, mmc too broody. But there were fun moments and I liked the side characters a lot. Don’t think I’ll be continuing.
