Elliot Miles is infuriating. He’s selfish, self centered and rude. At least that’s how Kate sees him. Everyone else loves everything about him. She can’t understand it. And rightfully so he’s a jerk to her on every occasion he has a chance to be. Until one day he’s not and then before she knows it he’s under her skin in more ways than one. The Casanova was delicious. Watching Kate and Elliot fight their natural inclination to not only hate each other but fall madly in love was refreshing. I love this book because it gave a strong heroine who was rational and smart. Someone who made sound choices that I could root for. Kate was definitely my fave in this story. Overall I give the story 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

The last 20% of this book was a train wreck. Which really sucks, because I was enjoying it until then

TL Swan really knows how to put us readers through it emotionally.. I cried reading all 3 books that are out so far and I’m sure she is going to make me cry at book 4 too LOL.
I absolutely adored Kate, she may be my favorite FMC in the series! Elliot I took a bit to warm up to and even after warming up to him I hated him towards the end, but when I actually got to the ending/HEA I warmed up again and melted for him. I really love this couple.
This book had the best plot twist out of the 3 books in my opinion, I did NOT see that coming!
There was spice in this, a bossy alphahole, heartache, laughs, etc. I LOVED it!
I can’t wait for Christopher’s book — #4 in the series.

This book is so hard to rate! I absolutely adored the final act and the conclusion, but getting there was such a freaking chore! I wish I loved this book more, I wish I cared more, but alas I didn't. I couldn't really connect to either Kate or Elliot. And I felt the drama was incredibly melodramatic for no apparent reason. This was pretty much a miss for me, but I am hoping some of TL Swan's turn it around for me.
The only reason it's got 1 star is because of the god damn ducks. The men in these books do awful shit and do not groval NEARLY enough. There other woman drama galore, and they continue to be dick bags without even worshipping the ground that their women walk on. Fuck no. Also each of the men calls their women a bitch throughout the books. Also this author uses the slur fuckt*rd several times in this series and it's fucking gross. Will not be completing the series. I'm done.
