This series is as good as you’d expect, but I enjoyed this book in the series more than the rest.

The way this book made me feel!!! Oh my god! When I read the first couple chapters I was like oh this is going to be fun, I didn't realize by the end of it was going to be crying like I did. It hit me out of nowhere but man oh man was this book so good!!!! I love Tristian, I always will, and it was so cute to see where him and Jameson are now in their relationships, but oh my God Elliot! Where did you come from sir, and miss Kate!? I love her so much, what a baddie!! Seriously those two are perfect, I love them so much.

*below contains spoilers*

The groveling in this book was amazing. I love Kate so much for not backing down and for finding herself again!! And the way Elliot finally realized the best way to win her back was to let her find her way even though it was killing him to be without her, and the letter!?! I wanna die I love them so much.
Also, I cried so hard when Elliot came back and was messaging Kate as Ed but then finally let her know she was Pinkie.
I will never recover from this book. Never.

Elliott Miles. Elliot Casanova Miles. He finally loses that title. And gives away his heart.

Elliott and Kate truly despise each other. He’s the wealthy playboy who runs the Miles Media London office and she runs IT. Did I mention they hate each other? They really do. But then, Kate starts to see another side to Elliott. And when they lose themselves in each other…it awakens Kate from her sad, boring life. But can she keep things casual as Miles doesn’t do relationships. Kate doesn’t do casual and she doesn’t let Elliott get away with anything. She fights back verbally. A lot. And Elliott? Kate has really stirred something in him.

This is an enemies to lovers tale. A billionaire boss and employee. And then there’s the online dating app they both reluctantly joined where Kate discovers her friend “Ed” is really Elliott. But does Elliott know “Pinkie” is really Kate?

I loved this story, although I did get annoyed at times with Kate’s overreacting - she’s worked for Elliott for years but seems to be shocked at some of his behavior and totally overreacts. But calling Elliott an idiot and keeping him on his toes makes up for some of that.

This is the 3rd book and all the Miles brothers are totally charming. I recommend reading about them all as they all appear in every book.

Enjoyed this book

I have enjoyed reading all three of the books in the Miles High series. I look forward to reading Christopher's book! I'm sure it will be just as epic as this one was.

”Just because nobody knows about us doesn’t make our relationship any less important.”

**Synopsis:**
Coworker’s for seven years, Kate and Elliot definitely annoy each other.
Then one day Elliot sees Kate in a different light and all of a sudden their attraction can’t be denied.

**The following are my thoughts about this book: **
* * I really liked Elliot and Kate when they didn’t like each other. They had some great chemistry as enemies and I enjoyed their sparring. However, that went away when their relationship changed and the whole vibe of the story altered and it wasn’t as fun.

* * I’m not sure I bought into the sudden attraction. It didn’t really work for me. They went seven years with no sparks. Maybe a year I could understand (kind of not though), but Seven???? That was just hard to rationalize.

* * I thought the story was too long.

* * Drama for the sake of drama. There was a lot of unnecessary drama due to miscommunication or preconceived thoughts.

* * The big revelation at the end was completely unrealistic. How would an unknown artist who never sold a single painting ever be seen by Elliot in the first place. I know artists who work really hard for decades to get their artwork actually shown in high end galleries with hopes of catching the eye of someone with tons of money. Elliot paying $20 million for this particular unknown artist’s work was just eye rolling to me.

* * Did Elliot do enough to get Kate back? In my opinion, a letter a day was a little bit swoony. But I would have rather had the letters filled with apologies and undying love declarations as well. (I’m thinking of Mr Big’s love letters in the Sex and the City movie. Now that was heart melting and incredibly swoony!!

I love Kate - she’s funny & witty & badass
Elliot - he was frustrating & arrogant .. all the while attractive & endearing.

“Have a safe trip home this afternoon, don’t walk in front of a bus or anything.”

“We kiss and hold each other and, with an intimacy I’ve never known, she takes me. And holds me. And ruins me forever.”

“We lie in the darkness, so physically close and yet I’ve never felt so alone.”

Good work enemies to Fwb to lovers

I loved their dynamic, the couple twists that happened were good!!!
