So many good tropes in one book. This book has a little bit of everything for romance lovers. The ending took the cake though, I actually never saw it coming. The epilogue was amazing too. I just love the witty banter in all of these books!

Idk if I just wasn't as focused or if It was just me but there was something missing from this story. Also I'm sorry but I can't over that he went to see the artist bc frankly, if u really loved her, there wouldn't be a doubt, so he was shady for that. It's a 2 for me ...

Slight spoilers ahead

The Good:
A lot happened in this book and even though it was probably longer (and more complicated) than necessary I always enjoy being able to see the hero and heroine in different stages of their relationship.
I couldn't put it down, I wanted to know more about Elliot and Kate and the big mess they both made.
The ducks were funny.
The hero had a very set idea in his head of what he expected when he found "the one" and even though because of this he almost screws up his HEA, I appreciated the attempt of the fantasy vs the reality of falling for someone being so clearly contrasted.
I deeply enjoyed the grovel in this book and the fact that the groveler was acting against his own instincts but knew it was what she needed.

The Bad:
Enemies to lovers.... but why? Where did the "hate" or even big dislike came from?
Character A sees Character B in a different light because of an outfit change? Really? That's all it took after 7 years of extreme hate/dislike?
Everyone feels the need to blatantly flirt with the hero and heroine at any given time.
The heroine continually telling herself she needs to play hard to get

The Ugly:
I appreciate banter in books, in this one, and sadly in the only other one I read from the author I don't get it. I rarely think they are being as clever as they think they are. Probably a me thing though.
This is a mix one because I kinda of hate how this book goes all over the place narrative wise, but on the other hand is what keeps me interested because the world constrains are different to other romances.
The final reveal was both enjoyable (because without it the book would be much worse) and also badly planned and pulled out of nowhere.

As a final note is the "spends a week/weekend away somewhere" the fall in love premise of every single book by this author? I don't hate it per se, it just feels repetitive.

Will probably fall for the hype and read the next book in this series! I'm curious about Christopher and his backpacker life.

T.L. Swan sure does know how do a series. This book was amazing! I’ve been waiting on the edge of my seat for it to release and I couldn’t be more pleased. There were so many twists abs turns. Such an enjoyable ride and I’m so excited to see what she does with the next brother in the series. Read all of the Miles High Club. You’ll thank me later.

I can easily say this book is definitely one of my top 5! Their attraction and love was genuine, which I really appreciated. With that said, I was always rooting for them which is why the plot had me at the edge of my seat. Even when I wanted to hate him, T.L. Swan gave us the best plot twist to save the day. This was a great, and sexy, enemies to lovers + secret relationship with your boss love story that I cannot recommend enough.
