The story line was slightly corny at the end but of course stayed for the spice.
I was not expecting this to be my favorite book of the series WOW! I absolutely loved this book. I loved the first two and went in blind with this one not knowing what it was about or what to expect. I did have it figured out pretty quickly who the other woman was, the paintings etc but I absolutely loved this! I want to read it again.
Okay, it was better than the first book. This was the book that was initially recommended to me. The other book I read accidentally.
This had a more entertaining plot than the first one. I'd argue that the love in this one seemed slightly more genuine/the relationship too.
But there were so many icks in this. I have issues with so many love interest's choices because they are just stupid. Why do men in these books think it's okay just to beat up people and commit assault then be like "why is my girl hiding out?? chaueffer, drive me there now!"?
Not a big fan.

The Harriet Boucher situation fucked me up. I hated how he had to see her after everything he’s built with Kate. Like to see Harriet if they had chemistry or fate? He should of already known. Jameson on the other hand was speaking facts. In other words, no matter how bad the situation looks it’s best to find out rather than to have “what ifs” dangling above your head your whole life. I felt I was pulled from different directions. The ending had me tickled and I’m itching to hear everything come together in the final book of this series!!

3/5 stars
Elliot and Kate’s story was intriguing and sexy. I enjoyed the office romance and enemies to lovers trope.
I enjoyed that Kate didn’t take his crap and was willing to stand up to him. Elliot was the typical CEO with unreasonable expectations in certain instances. Their banter was fun and witty in the office. I would have liked to see their relationship progress more at work.
I had a hard time realizing work Elliot was the same person as vacation Elliot. During work Elliot was super short, callous and rude. Outside of work we saw none of those traits unless he was throwing a temper tantrum (which seemed to mostly happen at work).
The other issue for me was that Kate went from an independent main character to a love sick puppy in just a few chapters. She seemed to lose her backbone almost instantly. Which was annoying. She did get it back in the end.
I would have liked to see the chemistry between them a little more before they were suddenly together. I think that would have helped the hate to love relationship feel not so rushed.
Overall I enjoyed the book. It was a fun romance read

Thought this was going to be a 3 but it surprised me right there at the end which doesn’t happen often so it got an extra star.
Elliott’s story was great!! So many moments of me yelling at them both! Ugh and Daniel drove me crazy. I love that they’re fated for each other
Enemies to lovers with wit and charm
This is the best Miles high club book so far! I was hesitant to pick this one up because I didn’t love the previous books but this one blew the other two out of the water.
In this enemies to lovers we read about Elliot who is a dreamer who are looking for his happily ever after while keeping up with his nickname “the Casanova”, and Kate who works at Miles media in the IT department. Kate and Elliot hate each other until events makes them realize that there is chemistry between them that they cannot ignore.
Filled with witty banter, laughs and crazy animals this is a must read of 2022.

I got the pleasure from reading, I misses the characters from the previous parts, so it’s was nice to read about them again
I get a feeling that this book is kind of not structured, like the parts not connected between each other, a little bit of rushed
That story with fate and that he went to his artist, was feeling like a real betrayal, but he did grovel so I forgive him
