Received an ARC for my review.

The Casanova is the third installment in the Miles High Club, following the Miles Brothers. This book is all Elliot Miles. Granted I had not read the first 2 books in the series but it did not affect my enjoyment of the book and this one can be read as a standalone.

Elliot Miles is the CEO of the London branch of Miles Media, one of the largest media companies in the world. Elliot is your typical Hero. Gorgeous, rich, dominating, alpha.

Kathryn Landon isn't your typical heroine. She is a slightly uptight head of IT that like to verbally spar with Elliot. She doesn't put up with his BS and she's constantly pushing him.

Sounds hot? Well, at first it's not. They literally hate each other. There is no attraction between them and they don't even like being in the same room. Of course that changes pretty early on when Elliot spies on Kathryn in the copy room dancing around unabashedly in her tiny red netdress. He doesn't realize it's her at first but soon he can't think of anything but her.

What I really enjoyed about this book is that both Elliot and Kathryn are not what they first seem. There are sides to them both that when uncovered, endear them to the readers and each other. I also loved their banter. Just because they start sleeping together (which is all they do at first), they don't stop antagonizing the other. It's such fun to see them continue to be genuine to themselves even when starting a new relationship. And while Elliot is a typical alpha, especially in bed, you find that he has a sensitive side. He loves art. He protects the ones he loves.

However, the twist made me want to shove a red hot poker up his butt. LOL. He really screws up the relationship. His grovel is good. I always think grovels can be better though. The twist wasn't something I entirely saw coming. I had suspected part of it and was trying to piece some of it together but it's not a twist I've ever read before. So kudos to TL Swan for that!

Overall I really enjoyed the book. I love that Kathryn isn't your typical heroine and that Elliot wasn't your typical alpha. Their relationship was fun to see blossom and you root for them the entire time.

This was good, but not as good (or funny) as the last one. There were a few funny parts, and I loved that Harry/Wiz made a naughty appearance at the end of this one.

*Thanks to Amazon Publishing UK + NetGalley for the ARC!*

The next person I see telling people that The Stopover is a standalone is going to get karate chopped. IT LITERALLY ISN'T A STANDALONE! IT'S A SERIES! THEY'RE BROTHERS! JUST READ THEM ALL!

Anyway.

I loved this one. Kate and Elliot have an enemies to lovers story, and we finally get to find out who that artist Elliot loves is. Lots of sex scenes, per usual, and these felt less spicy and more romantic. If you've read the other stories in this series, you must pick this one up!

This book is one of my favourite enemies to lovers story. Not only Elliot and Kate's chemistry was hot but also their journey to HEA was delightful.
The twist towards the end was a surprise for me. I had some doubts about who Harriet is but didn't expect that revelation.
Overall, this book will make you cry, break your heart and fall back in love... with Elliot.
Now, moving on to Christopher's story.

Elliot might be my favorite out of this entire series. The banter between him and Kate had me giggling to myself in the middle of the night.

Chissà come queste serie migliorano sempre di più ad ogni libro che le autrici scrivono.
Chef’s kiss per Elliott Miles.

This book was simultaneously too big and too small.
I honestly don't know how I put up with reading until the end.
