Nothing like a quick listen to remind yourself that billionaire CEOs are just like us. They deal with rejection, online dating, and chasing down recluse artists after spending millions of dollars buying their paintings.
I’ve never felt so *seen* in a book before.
FMC is kind of obnoxious, but that’s a bit in line with the series. MMC at least doesn’t have the “everyone always leaves me” nonsense, but has the insufferable “it’s got to be magic and an orchestra has to start playing” mindset when he meets “the one”.
Language got *real* repetitive in the series. Hair can be styled in other ways behind “perfectly just-fucked”, suits can be other colors than “dark navy with a crisp white button down” and not all erect penises live in the waistband of boxer shorts.
Will the next book be as grating? Hopefully not, but we shall see.
PS it’s not about pilots, btw.

This is by far my favorite Miles brother. In office romance with such a powerful and possessive boss. These 2 characters hold so much spice in them. Grab this book. You will LOVE it!

Elliot Miles and Kathryn Landon’s story is definitely an enemies-to-lovers story. Kathryn works for Elliot’s company in London as the lead in the IT department. Whenever they are in the same room, the sparks fly. The angry banter between these two is actually pretty funny. After a health related scare, the way they see the other changes and what ensues is an up and down, and even sideways journey to their happily ever after.
There are so many things happening in their story, there is a dating app that goes awry, an infatuation that causes havoc and a beautiful farm with crazy animals that made me laugh out loud. Both the MCs are fantastic together but they are fascinating as individuals. Elliott is such a contradiction, he is this womanizing jerk with the nickname, Casanova, but he is also a dreamer, a lover of art and looking for that fairy tale love story. There is just this sweetness to him, but still with that powerful and oh so arrogant CEO vibe. Kathryn is assertive, feisty and takes no cr@p from anyone, especially Elliott. But there is this vulnerable side to her too, my heart broke for what she had lost. Their chemistry was off the charts, and the twist at the end was totally unexpected. I loved it!
Overall, an awesome read, some of Elliott’s choices really ticked me off, but in a way I kind of understood it too. Kathryn really stuck to her guns and really made Elliott work for it and he did it so well!! This is only my 2nd book I’ve read from this author, I’m definitely going to go through her backlist now!

Perfect
This series is 3/3 at making me cry like a baby at the endings. So good! Can’t put them down, they’re so good I just have to read until I’m finished. The characters, the story, the emotions… swooning! Can not wait to go to book 4 & read Christopher’s story.

I think this was my favorite out of the Miles High series. This one felt the most realistic and I really enjoyed the found family aspect.
I think my main problem with these books is that when the main characters fight they are so vile to each other. One moment they’re so in love and the next throwing names and insults at each other.
Overall this series was lacking for me I hate to say

Omg this book was soooo good had me laughing and had me crying. Gahhh it was great, i’m sad that i finished it!!! Totally got me out of the book slump
The Casanova is the 3rd book in The Miles High Club and it surrounds Elliot, who is the CEO of the London office. I love Elliot and Kate so much!! Kate really held her own. This was a bit slower than the other two, but the pacing is the same.
You can expect enemies to lovers office romance with tons of steam. There's a twist that's thrown in, even though I called it I couldn't wait for things to unfold!!
Would you be even more intruiged if I told you there's an enchanted farm and a panicked 911 call for pesky ducks?

I BLEW through this book. It was witty, exciting, and gosh darn it, it was likable. Like YES, the part where he leaves Kate for some artist he had ~connection~ with was...not cool. BUT it made for a really good twist, to be honest, and kept me reading on. This was my first T.L. Swan book and I can't wait to read more!
