I want to give this book a 5 because I really love this author, but I just can’t for some reason on this one.
Idk if Mia reminds me so much of the old me before my healing that it makes me dislike her or if I’m just angry at her bc I’m angry at myself for putting up with the same shit. I was just as standoffish and curt and didn’t let it ppl close to me due to lifelong trauma. I have learned to be tough & through the help of my husband I’ve also learned to be soft. It was a long process. So idk why I just expect Mia to get with it but I want her to so badly. But, it works out in the end. I do think

For sure my favorite of the series. I thought Macklin was my favorite mmc but it is for SURE Henry. His devotion to MIA and MIA’s growth throughout the book are so great! I love that all the characters are in every single book. And not just a quick nod. They are interspersed in all the stories. This is such a good series!
