What a great way to end the Buffy canon series. Rewriting Fray’s “history” and changing Willow’s future and the future of the Slayer line from what we saw in season 8. So sad it was only four issues. But so happy they were some of the most action packed and happy ending of four issues.

Really, that's how you end things Joss?

Read in comic book form.

So happy with Season 12, especially after the Giles miniseries debaucle. Season 12 had everything I love about the Buffy comics: fun cameos, the gang all together again, a happy ending...? (Well, about as happy as it can get for now in the Buffyverse.)

Only one problem...

SpoilerWHY can't Joss Whedon and the writers just let Spuffy be? I was so happy after they got together again in Season 11 and Buffy told Spike "I love you." And now we're a few years in the future and find out they've broken up again? Granted, at the end of Season 12 Buffy implies they are getting back together, but it was so vague...it could have been more like a "let's keep the whole gang together cause friends love each other" kind of speech. I guess I'll choose to believe that Spuffy is back.

Really great! My only complaint is that I just don't want anyone except Rebekah Isaacs to do the artwork (sorry other person, but you're just not nearly as good). Plenty of cute Spuffy moments here. ❤❤

This is a great story line they started. I really like where they took the story and its different and interesting and I can't wait to see how they get out of this. There is a cliff hanger.

Buffy and the gang are going about their normal lives when a huge sea monster attacks San Francisco for no reason and kill loads of people. All the magical, demon and supernatural people and things like vampires are rounded up into interment camps. Willow, Buffy and Spike are sent to this camp. It's pretty rough there.

We find out the dastardly deeds the government is planning and can Buffy and company stop this spread of evil. It's engaging and there are only 2 more volumes left before I am done. I'm ready for an ending of endings. It's been quite a run.

Disappointing.

It appears Joss Whedon came in and tacked on an ending he planned from season 9. This was out of left field and didn't have much to do with where the story really was. Buffy and Spike were in a good space and between the end and this they have separated. Crap.

Everyone came together, Faith, Angel, everyone that's left standing.

The ending for season 11 is the best ending. Personally, for me, I don't consider this part of the Buffy verse and from now I will will stop at the end of Season 11.

Even the artwork changed again for the last issue. It's so weird. There isn't much continuity from last season to this and Willow doesn't get much time in this novel, nor does Xander really. Everything is wonky.

A terrible ending to a good story run. It truly sputtered to it's death here.

Started out and ended really strong, middle was okay. There were a lot of powerful comments on the political climate of the world today though, which was really well done. So sad there are only two more to go.

What an ending. I can't believe Buffy the Vampire Slayer, from movie to show to graphic novels, is over. There are a few side projects I haven't read yet, and the new time-line revamp, but the main official story is at an end.

I was so bummed when it was announced this volume, season 12, was the last, but it did not disappoint and really went out with a bang, true to form. Surprises, old favorites, twists, heartstrings pulled, laughs, redemption. Everything I've come to expect and love from this series.

I don't think I can express how much Buffy really meant to me over the years, other than to say this. She saved me. A lot.

Uft, would be better off pretending season 11 was the end.
