I thought maybe Danya would write it in a way that might make me feel more for Ansel but in my opinion she did not. It’s written in a way that makes you decide for yourself, which I appreciate. This book was out of my comfort zone and unlike anything I’m used to reading. Nonetheless I enjoyed it.

This was a literary thriller, that explores a lot of different themes. I really liked the social commentary and critique very much. I think it's best to go into it without knowing a lot about it. It surprised me many, many times.
