ADKSJFHLJKEWHUEHFWKAWUHFELAUHVI EXCUSE ME SIR WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS ENDING?????????????????????????

I feel like I learned so much about indigenous culture in such a small amount of time after reading this book.

The author managed to intertwine the characters' lives in a way that felt very organic yet meaningful.

I love an open ending but this one left me at the edge of my seat. It's okay, I'll recover (eventually) but for now I am speechless.

I loved everything about this book, especially the array of numerous distinct narrative voices. The pacing was also really well done, the book flowed so easily and you could feel the build up to the end in every detail. Most importantly, I think this book framed new perspectives to me in a way I haven't seen in other stories. I can't believe this is a debut and will definitely be reading more from this author.

I found this really difficult to read, emotionally speaking. The loosely related stories were a little too scattered for my taste, and I had trouble keeping track of the connections. I wish there had been more resolution at the end, too. Still, a great read. (Probably 3.5 stars, so I rounded down.)

Some of the most beautiful writing I’ve read this year but I just could not get immersed or connected to the characters bc of how many quick perspective changes there were unfortunately :(
