Read it on my trip to Paris. A bad romance but decent depiction of Paris

O. M. G

I loved this book. It’s based round the initial reason Callie came to Paris, her friends she met there. The ex boyfriend that hurt her. Parties, fun. Touring round some of Paris’s well known places. The details in the smell of the subway.

Her not quite meaning to meet him, his sister doesn’t want to introduce her to him because she knows what she’s like. He has a complicated past with his ex girlfriend, whom his mother thinks is wonderful.

They had 4 days, can love happen in such a short time.

The final day comes to soon, he gets another phone call and they row, for her it’s just too much. She’s very emotional

But they get their happy ending

I could not put this book down and was hooked from the first page. The pacing was good and the writing was compelling. This book was a quick, easy, cute, and adorable romantic comedy.

I think the author did a great job giving the reader a sense of urgency with the 4 day deadline while also maintaining a good pace. I loved all the laugh out loud and heartwarming moments. I loved Callie and Julian together, but I also loved that Callie valued her “sisterhood”. I would have liked more character development, but overall this was a great read!

I love the cover for 4 Days in Paris it's so petty and just makes you want to pick it up.
I found this novel an enjoyable read. It's a cosy romance with a slow start.
Once you get drawn into the story it's picks up quickly and you feel like you're part of the gang.
I liked that all the characters are likeable. This novel reads just like a friend is telling you the story of their holiday, which I liked

I liked the idea of what if you meet someone and the wrong time but... the story was there (to be captivating for me) but it just didn't connect with me, specially the characters.

This is such a gorgeous, sweet cosy romance.

If you are after a light hearted read with a happy ending, this is the book for you.

The Parisian setting for the love story provided the perfect backdrop for the romance. The descriptions of the city really added to the atmosphere of the whole story.

The characters in this story are well written and loveable. At times I did find Callie a bit annoying - she’s a complete romantic and she falls hard and fast whereas sometimes I like a more slow burn where characters take time to get to know each other. This was a relationship which was a bit insta-love. Having said that I did believe the feelings between the two of them and it was very sweet watching their relationship develop.

Overall this is a good time, lighthearted, easy romance. Not too challenging and full of all the heartwarming goodness that a sweet romance brings.
