I got an copy from NetGalley and I was really excited because a new manga I hadn’t heard of? With girls? Sign me up!
This is about Kanon who’s hard of hearing and Saki who’s trying to befriend her. They run into each other quickly one day and ends with Kanon giving Saki a bandaid. Saki thinks that Kanon is very pretty and wonders if she’ll see her again and lo and behold, she’s right beside her in class next time she enters.
Kanon explains that she doesn’t try to get close to people because of her hearing but Saki doesn’t give up and I think this is a cute beginning to a series I’d like to continue!

I'm feeling silly Xd I was hoping for a romance and find myself mostly with a friendship story with a focus on one of the characters being deaf, small bullying (very small for now), how disabled people can rely, sometimes too much, on non disabled people. But also very teenage topics, like getting enthusiastic about dramas, reading. What a pleasant surprise and beautiful art.
