Really easy, fun whodunnit. I am smart because I predicted the murderer :)

This one takes a bit longer to get going, dials back some of the meta insights into writing that I enjoyed, and is a bit drier until the mystery really kicks off (can’t blame Horowitz for inheriting a minor flaw from his literary ancestor), but boy howdy if the denouement doesn’t deliver. I’ve read and watched a lot of whodunnits, many of them a blast, but for my money, no one has even gotten close to Agatha’s ingenuity in plot and deception besides Horowitz and Rian Johnson. Fitting, then, that I finished this a day before seeing Glass Onion - the true Christie whodunnit lives!
This was a disappointing read for me and I think it was largely the actual mystery. I was never invested in it and there were to many new characters to follow.

Thoroughly enjoyable classic whodunit. Happy to read one of these after a fair duration of time. Has its typical shares of clues and red herrings. Looking forward to book 4 in the series.

Another great mystery! I was pulled in many directions and excited to see who did it!
