ending felt rush also made no sense to me. felt like a plot twist just for the sake of being a plot twist , it was so left field and not even in a good way.

This book caught me, I read more than half of it in one breath. Considering the debut novel of the author and how the action went on there, I was obsessed with this one too. I had to find out who the murderer was and especially how will be the ending.
It is noticeable the author cares a lot about his first book "The silent patient" as he brought back into discussion certain characters, Theo especially, when it wasn't really the case to do that.
I would have given it 4,5 stars.
