Oh, what a lovely, captivating story. Heart-wrenchingly pitiful, but lovely nonetheless. I was recommended by a good friend some time ago and I've been meaning to pick it up. I'm really glad I found time to read it.
There were so many scenes where I related too hard to the main character. The wild, raw, senseless feelings of having your first love. How you'd lose yourself completely in the intensity of falling for someone--particularly someone out of your league.
The plot twist was predictable (albeit distasteful) but other than that, I really enjoyed reading this and I'm very intrigued about Turgenev's other works.
