I can’t even with this book. I LOVED it. The story was dark, compelling, tragic, hopeful, everything you could ask for in a book. Brought me to tears more than once. It’s a thriller/mystery but full of heart. Actually made me cry. Easily one of my favorites and best of 2025.

4.25. Struggled with audiobook and the scene that I was reading... To the point where I thought about DNFing it. I ended up moving to the physical copy and loved it. Raced thru it. Highly addictive story. Slightly cliche but super fast paced.

this book has such heavy subject matter.
I almost couldn't make it through the book because unfortunately something similar happened to me...not to this severe extent. but my past traumas really came out
I'm glad I stuck with it though because this novel while dark was filled with so much hope.

This book is intense and fast-paced. It was hard to read at times, lots of violence and brutality. It was a bit unrealistic at times in the last third of the book, but overall I enjoyed it. There was a bit too much self-blaming by all 4 females, that got a bit annoying.
