one of my fave authors, amazing writing and perfect plot!
Best book in the WORLD.
I love these stories, I want a Faraway Tree. I want weird coloured chickens and exploding toffee.
This time round though... In the first book Joe and Co go up the tree and Joe is a bit mean. Nasty streak in that boy.
Didn't care for him much, Frannie cries all the time and middle child Beth is the best of the lot.
Should never be made into a film unless Tim Burton directs.

its easy 5 star for me. I love the character and the lands that has been portrayed in the stories. This book is so good that i want to read it for the first again . <3
One of my favourite children's books, I read this over and over again and wished I was part of a world with a magical tree and adventures in it.
This gave me an even wider imagination and I throughly recommend it to any parent giving it to their kids or even just to read themselves for old times sake!

a classic story that is so memorable and a childhood favourite
I'm not sure what the draw is to this collection... unless it is simply nostalgia. Visiting them as an adult I found them tedious and redundant. I read them with my eight-year-old and while she enjoyed listening, didn't beg for more.
