Perhaps I should’ve put this book down when it started with lines such as ‘Unlike my pop and rap loving peers, I preferred to listen to angsty classics: the Smiths, Nirvana R. E. M.’ And ‘My life was exceptionally boring. I had no friends, no hobbies, no extracurricular activities... whenever I escaped to my room to watch Netflix, my mom would insist she needed help with something’
Alas I didn’t. The book wasn’t ‘bad’ but it wasn’t good. Someone would enjoy it, that someone just isn’t me.

This was wild. Not necessarily good, but wild.
I hate all of the characters.

What a ride, this book goes from juicy and scandalous, to a wild twisted thriller. Not my usual genre but absolutely could not put it down.

This book was a good read. I could have finished it a lot sooner but of course life happens. I have read another book by this author and enjoyed it as well. I feel as though the author kept mentioning how Low's height and awkwardness was such a huge factor in the book and how because of that she was obsessive with Freya. I also felt the same way when describing all of the characters. It was like the author kept making it a point through out the book to describe the reasons why they were so obsessive over Freya. All in all I enjoyed the book and look forward to more works from this author.

3.5 stars. An intensely suspenseful book about terrible and mentally unwell people doing horrible things to each other on repeat. Harding is a genius when it comes to writing evil characters, and she really made me hate some of these people...especially Freya.
Compulsively readable and addictive, even though I have a personal pet peeve of pregnancy and paternity drama as a plot device. Satisfying ending.
