"You" Meets "Mean Girls".
Why is everybody so obsessed with Freya? I felt this way as well, obsessed with Robyn's writing only to be let down in the end. There was no twists I didn't see coming. It was thrilling waiting for Jamie to find out but it was also obvious. I don't think I'll ever come back to this book because I don't like the obsession with Freya. Everybody knows she's trash and they just ignore it? I definitely couldn't read that again.

Coming from a hippie family, Low Morrison doesn’t fit in. When she meets famous influencer and local pottery studio owner, Freya, Low is starstruck and finally happy to have a friend she can share her secrets with. When Jamie, another island resident, comes into the picture, Low’s friendship with Freya is threatened. After a night of “swinging” between Freya, Jamie, and their partners, the consequences of their actions threaten their friendships and change their lives forever.
This book was not at all what I expected—a different kind of thriller, but one you have to keep reading until the end. It was interesting to read the ever-changing dynamics between Low, Freya, and Jamie throughout the book. To be honest the start was a little slow for me, but once I grew more attached to the characters, I couldn’t put it down. For fans of Lisa Jewell.

Wow! What a drama this one was! This is the newest release by @rhardingwriter and it was fantastic. It recently released in June, so you should be able to find it...make sure you do! It was a 4-star read for me!
This book had it all...sexual shenanigans, girl drama, stalking...you name it, it was there! At first, I really wasn’t sure what in the world I was reading, but a quarter of the way in, it started to shed some light. It ended way differently than I expected...in ways I would never have anticipated.

This thriller made my jaw drop. The evident toxic relationships between Freya and Low, Freya and her husband, even Freya with Jamie and her supposed best friend Jamie. It was clear she was the common denominator of destruction in everyone’s lives, but there was also a magnetism to her turmoil and abuse. She is incredibly manipulative throughout - and as you keep reading, you see the impact her behavior causes on others. Low is such an interesting character, because you want to sympathize with her, but she is ungrateful and toxic herself. You find yourself cringing and it is an incredibly fast paced read and highly recommended.
