I only finished this book out of respect for Rick Riordan, but... I skimmed through it just so I'd be done with it faster. Overall not interesting (apart from maybe one or two stories?) and not even well-written.

Love how random Norse mythology can get!

It is a „companion book“ nobody would ever read it without the main books of the series. As such it is fun to read. It tries to give a somewhat systematic look into all those Norse Myths gods, giants, worlds and main stories - it is brief, but helpful.

This is a pretty basic run-down of a lot of the people / creatures in Norse mythology, but it's got some great illustrations and of course is written in Riordan's very humorous style. I'm not sure if it's a very good 'introduction' though because obviously Riordan changes around a lot of stuff in his stories so if you haven't read the books I feel like some of the references in here are going to go right over your head, but it's definitely a nice companion piece, especially if you get confused with all the different characters.
