This was funny and informative, I liked it. Getting to know the world and gods of northern mythology is done well, as are all retellings by Rick Riordan! Loved the different interviewing types and the feeling of mixed media. The breakdown of who’s who really helps to get into the books and the world a bit more.
I didn't really like this that much but it was short and quick, and during a readathon, that's what I'm looking for!

If you have ever read on of Rick's book you would know that that is usually a companion book or a guide book that goes with the series. sometimes there is one or there could be more. I find this super helpful. not only does it help you learn more about the characters in the book but if you ever forget something it is a great reference. I find if i am reading other books that have to do with mythology i can just look in one of Ricks books and i will get a brief overview of the character that i need help with. I really enjoyed the interviews with the gods that are in this book. it was a fast read but you don't want to read this book for the series you don't have to but overall a good read.
