I loved this book. Written in detail without being tiring. Addictive. Read it in a week, despite being 500 pages.

I thought it would never end. It dragged on forever.

I wouldn't say New Moon has been my favorite book in the past but after reading it this time around I really liked it. And my perspective on Jacob changed as well.

How many times can one person breakdown, start sobbing and not realise it's them sobbing? Well, the Twilight Saga is the series to find out.

New Moon is definitely a more likeable book than Twilight, mostly from the lack of manipulative Edward hanging around. Let's be fair though, the whole concept of 'I'm leaving you to keep you out of danger because I like you too much, even though that leaves you in a ton of danger' is silly. And why is nobody questioning her hallucinations? 🤦

And don't get me started on the whole marry me thing. They've been together what, six months? Before he devastates her leaving and breaks her for eight months. Only to immediately ask her to marry him? Like what?

Anyway, the Twilight Saga continues to be trash as an adult but it's definitely fun. That said, I don't know if it's better or worse knowing what's coming next...
