This book had no business being as long as it did.

It's nearly 600 pages of a girl moping over a guy who walked out on her and then just when it seems like she might be starting to get better her cold marble good smelling crack shows up again and she resets any and all progress she made.

The actual climax and conflict of the book is swiftly resolved and all actual threats of danger and quickly swept under the rug. It's five hundred pages of nothing and then a quick sixty or so of the teasing of conflict and then back to another thirty of dumb relationship drama.

And I mean dumb relationship drama.
SpoilerBella has already decided that she wants to spend her entire life with Edward and wants to be made a vampire like him. So why is it such a point of conflict that his condition to turn her is she has to marry him? Why is becoming the undead and having to basically abandon her family such an easy task for Bella but oh my god marriage?? That's a deal breaker.

He loves her too much that he left her to protect her, and almost died because he thought she aren't alive anymore.

well, i think i liked twilight better. not that i didnt like this too, but the last one there was more curiousity. i judge a book by if it makes my anxious or not. but its easy to see how its done here. she tells you whats about to happen generally, then wastes time explaining things that either dont make sense yet or dont matter at all. so that was frustrating. what was really frustrating though was the end. UGH it took FOREVER. she just kept explaining rooms that didnt matter. shed take a paragraph to describe a chamber, then theyd just move. it was so frustrating. and the end when they get back together, that was frustrating becuase it was too like...gushy. look. im in love, and i dont talk like that. its kind of absurd. it was also understandable during the middle bit, with the hole in your chest and the zombie phase. i know what thats all about. so that was good.
