This book was long (audio 28 hours) but absolutely wonderful!
Karen Rose did a phenomenal job of leading me on a while goose chase, trying to figure out who was behind all of these events.
This is my first book by Karen Rose, but I’m definitely going to be looking into more books in the Cincinnati series!
*Romantic Suspense book #16, so I’m interested to see what the first 15 books entail!
Highly recommend

Even when you think you know who done it, you don’t.
I thought I knew, then I thought it was someone else, and even when they figured it out, I didn’t believe it. And then there it was: the ending, all wrapped up, pretty as you please, with a bow on top!!!
Loved this book, as I’ve loved every other Karen Rose book (just finished 6 in a row!)!!!

Sehr spannender Thriller, der einen bis zuletzt über die Wahrheit im dunklen lässt!
Good! A little dramatic at points, but it kept me guessing! I liked Faith a lot, and I liked the mystery and the house. I liked her and Deacon together too, but there were a few parts where I was like, really?!?! You’ve known each other 2 days and you should be focusing on this case!!! But overall entertaining and enjoyable.
Finally - Deacon Novak's story! It was a nice blend of suspense and romance but a little more grisly than I anticipated. The only complaint I have about this book is format. I loved the length and felt like I got more than my money's worth in terms of substance. However, I would have gladly paid a few more dollars for the taller mas market or a trade paperback. It took much longer to finish because I had to take several breaks while reading it to avoid eye strain and discomfort from holding the book.

Karen's books never cease to drag me along on the most thrilling of rollercoaster rides. Faith's story I've just returned to re-read, having gone right back to the beginning.
From the minute I pick them up, to the minute I put them down, I find myself enthralled at the twists and turns.
I love that each book keeps us in touch with past characters, and the way that backstory gives us insight into their lives and that somehow, even with the most evil of bad guys, the good guys win through.
Even though I've read them before, it's like reading it all again for the first time.
Looking forward to the next now!

I love Karen Rose and nobody does romantic suspense like her. Equal parts horrifying villains and slow build romance.
