This book surprised me. I enjoyed very much, and I cannot wait to read the next one because I really like the twins and want to hear more about them.

This is a fantasy novella. I was excited to see what a fantasy novella was going to be like. The storyline seemed very interesting. A book about kids that visit other ‘worlds’ and upon returning home get placed into a special boarding school.
I wanted to like this book, but too much information was being crammed into a novella. So much was missing and it was all very confusing. It was like jumping into the middle of a 500 page book and expecting to know the back story, the ins and outs of different worlds, and what was going on.

Interesting, Maybe i'm not used to Audio books might have been a different experience if I read the physical copy.

Ok, maybe not the murder. But everything else!
This book was so whimsical. I kept thinking how much I would have loved this when I was a teenager- I'm sure I would have designed some kooky imaginary worlds that I would have wanted to travel to.
I also think it's cool that in such a short book, especially one that is focused on fantasy world building, that they managed to include interesting representation like asexuality and being trans, especially how those things fit perfectly into the plot.
I'm definitely gonna check out the other books in this series.
