i think she’s a genius and it was so satisfying to have loose ends tied up but it was SO hard for me to finish and took longer than i wanted

I think I would’ve enjoyed it more to read physical book versus audiobook. The narration was good just felt harder to keep track of all that was happening. I found myself replaying parts bec I missed something. It did wrap up the story.

Am I mad that this trilogy was one giant story in three parts? Should it have just been a thousand page monstrosity?

Yes

Was it beautiful and devastating and hopeful and soul-crushing and just so heavy?

Also yes

Was it the best prose I’ve read in years, to the point it took me days to drag myself to the finish, because I was afraid it would disappoint me in the end?

Also also yes

I need to read something silly now. But it also needs to be delicious.
