Amazing!
Such a beautiful conclusion. I loved seeing the Syl Anagist Chapters, especially since I got a glimpse of where everything started. But even then, Syl Anagist had a history before everything, and I wanted to learn more about it.
The series was phenomenal in terms of Science Fiction world-building. Even though much of the stuff is impossible, N.K. Jemisin makes it sound realistic and in a way where I'm kind of like, it makes sense, even though many of the things are like impossible.

When I began reading this book, I was not overly involved in the world of this series. I found it interesting, but wasn't captivated by it. As such, I was not pulled in by the large amount of backstory that was in this book. If you have liked the series up to this point and are driven to find out how this world came to be, you will probably like this book. It just wasn't for me.

It's not often a book series, a trilogy no less, ends better than it started. There's a lot to process and will require another read to fully ever understand, but you can't deny the world building was epic - a completeness and complexity not often accomplished by anyone save the best of authors.

It's dark, but if there's one book you read, especially post-2020, I recommend this one... trilogy ;)

This book equally made me feel stupid and awed. What a great conclusion to this series.
