This story goes so much further than I thought it would! This is a good thing; I can see more in this series, and I will definitely want to read them.

A breathtaking end to a haunting series. This novel held many suprises, terror, and action than the others. This is a trilogy that has changed me. I am so sad that it is over. But I hope that the author would continue on the world thank you, Michelle Hodkin, for your work.

i loved this ending so much. was on the edge of my seat the entire time, everything that unfolded was so insane, i couldn’t predict anything that happened. adore all the characters, marashaw i will love you forever. this trilogy made me feel like i was losing my mind half the time but so worth it.
I am sad it is over but I am very happy with the ending. I am annoyed by A. L. But what can you do? Overall, great trilogy and I'll miss these characters.
It was pretty confusing at times. Major plot twist, but still more confusing than the other books in the series.
This book...this book was a wonderful conclusion to an epic series that I am sad to see gone. The Retribution of Mara Dyer was a satisfying conclusion to the series, and all the big questions were answered, along with some of the not-so-big questions. The book made me question what it is to be a villain, and what it is to be a hero, and this book made me see all these characters in a new light. It gave me closure at the end, and it also broke me as I read the last 150 pages, because everything bad that could possibly happen, happens to Mara and her friends. As well, we found out how she got to New York at the beginning of The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer and I did not see it coming.
All in all, The Retribution of Mara Dyer was an intense book with heartache, romance, beauty, death, intrigue, and a conclusion to put all conclusions to shame.
Read this series, because you won't regret it in the end.
