Wow! I have never read a book in my life that intrigued me, scared me and creeped me out as much as this book; this trilogy did. And I loved every freakin' second of it!

Honestly, it's hard for me to use more words to describe this book than just wow. There were so many new developments in this book that added so much depth to the themes and the characters, and the darkness and the flipping of typical archetypes...
Just wow.
My only qualm with this book is the ending. I feel like only one aspect was wrapped up nicely, but there were so many other things that could have been explored. Things were just a bit too neat for such a messy series with such messy characters.
Overall, so glad I decided to finish out the series even with my dislike of the first book.

No. Absolutely no. I was in awe of the first two books. I had so many questions, but I feel so let down.
loved this a lot, i’d give the whole trilogy 6 stars if i could - except the first book was a litttttle slow for me personally, but book 2 and 3 make up for that & are so worth it
I forgot about a lot of what happened in this series, but I was able to find a fun fan review/rant that covered most of the basics. This final book was the most coherent of the three. I think mostly because it was a grand reveal of what the hell was happening in the other books. It's strange because Mara was the most sane in this book. Sure she killed people and had fun doing it, but she was barely delusional in this book like she was in the other ones. Once they managed to get out of Horizons, she was totally normal. So what caused all that in the first place?
Finalmente finita la trilogia. È stata una di quelle maratone dove volevo finire subito, mangiarmi i libri. Storia originale, non del tutto sviluppata bene, non ho capito perché alla fine il padre di Noah lascia stare Mara anche se non è morta, bah; non è stato un finale chiuso del tutto logicamente. Ma mi è piaciuto, mi sono piaciuti Mara e Noah, le frasi che la Hodkin gli ha dedicato. E mi è piaciuta Mara cattiva, e che si piace.
Quindi tutto sommato, per l’esperienza positiva, do un 4 stelle.

It was still good...but it felt like (no offence to Michelle) she wasn't quite brave enough to go for the 'big ending' it was good but it kind of fell flat, it felt like everything just...stopped all the problems just went away after 'a certain event'
