This was a fun read and much better than 'Tis the Season for Revenge - despite "Big Nick Energy" being a horrible book title, in my opinion.

While Nick was a tad too perfect, I can't say I'm angry because that is sort of what I want to read in a cozy, Christmas-inspired book.

Also, huge props for the way the author writes a bondage scene, where consent is clear, obvious and respected. It's uncommon for kinky sex to appear in books without a previous conversation between characters, which always puts me a bit off - it's not that I feel there's a lack of consent in those situations, it's just some of the things can be easily triggering for people, so it's just odd that people start doing kinky stuff without checking in with their partners first. That definitely does not happen here and I love every second of it.

If you're looking for a quick, easy read with lots of Christmas vibes, a perfect cowboy-ish man, and some sexy moments, then this is the book for you.

Another adorable Holiday read by EM.

You had me at cowboy who lives in a tree farm and single mom. I mean this book was absolutely adorable and delivered perfectly for a holiday read.

So adorable and parts had me audibly saying “awww” out loud. I loved it.

-cowboy romance
-single mom
-he falls first
-friends dad

it was fine! I just don’t like single parent romances I guess. also, I’ve never had a migraine but I’m assuming you don’t want to get railed the next day 😂 that seems terrible.
also gifting this family a whole ass horse and house is wild

Morgan Elizabeth does it again. I really enjoyed this one. Eventhough it had some heavy topics, Nick was such a swoon worthy MMC and how he supports Shae as she heals is everything. I wish we got a little more to the story, but overall I enjoyed the quick/easy read.

Sweet, cute holiday read. The MMC is clearly fictional, but is still fucking adorable. The FMC was a little annoying but I think it kind of made sense with her storyline/history. I loved the daughters.

Would I read it again next holiday season? I probably would. However, it does make me want to go pick up “tis the season for revenge” by this author and reread it this season

omg i love this! this book was incredible, nick was amazing & him asking the two girls to adopt them was the sweetest thing i’ve ever read
