Such a sweet and beautiful Christmas story! I read this one as a standalone and now I will have to go back and read books 1-3 because if they are as good as this one I don't want to miss out.
2.5⭐️ There was a lot of repeat language throughout this book; where within the same page, the character would basically repeat themselves. This made the writing style boring and kinda lackluster. Also, Nick’s possessiveness was an ick for me. Maybe it’s because I didn’t read this series in order, but this relationship style just wasn’t for me.

The best christmasy book I've read. I highly recommend this book. It's delicious. I can't get enough of Nick!!! This is a sweet, cute rom- com movie type book and I loved every minute of it. The way it's written, the characters I devoured this story and stayed up passed my bedtime to finish it. No regrets GO TEAM!!! I am so glad I look a chance on big nick energy it was definitely worth it. Joyful, soul food, cozy read. Definitely needed at this time of year.

I'm currently reading this now. I'm new to this Author having just finished book 1 in this series.
I just can't get enough of the writing it's so smooth and easy, and hard to put down. So many Romance author's lose me where I'm in and out of a book but that's so not the case with Morgan's books I'm so glad I found her and I'm loving Nick and Shae. back to reading it...
Just finished in tears. So sweet so good I just love that the MC's are older. It's hard to find a good romance like this with people over 35. Nick is a hot book boyfriend, Shae is lucky to have found him. Read this book.

Ms Morgan Elizabeth does it again!!! 4.5⭐️s. I’ll never not instantly read one of her books tbh. This was so so good. Nick was actually perfect, and had me crying real tears at the end there. Shae was the definition of a strong single mom. So so good. We love a single mom romance and this was no different. I’ve devoured this series and cannot WAIT for the next one. Each book in this series seriously gets better. As always, we love the Taylor references and this one was one thousand percent giving Invisible String vibes. LOVE.

Watching him break through those barriers and show Shae he only wants to treat her how she has deserved all along? It’s hot cocoa for your holiday burned out soul.
I listened to the audio of this book via audible, and it was so good. Sweet, sexy, funny, and so well done. Savannah Peachwood and Jeremy York made it a pleasure to listen to. The vulnerability and strength they brought to their performances of Shae really enhanced the story. The spice had new life in audio, and had me willing to learn a few rope tricks from Nick myself. 😉
All in all, this was a great Christmas themed audio that made the trek back home for the holidays much more enjoyable!
