Fine

If you're looking for a heartwarming story with spice then this is the book for you!

There is just something so hot about a man that takes things off of your plate! And he's a cowboy? Yes and yes! This was a cute reverse grumpy sunshine holiday romance centered around Nick, Shae, and her two girls. The fact that this man drives two hours every night to move their elf is the cutest thing ever!

Nick is clearly wanting to help Shae and make her life easier and is just such a sweetheart. Shae is learning how to accept help and let go. The fact that he owns a Christmas tree farm was giving Hallmark but I loved it! The only reason that this wasn't a five star read for me was because there were some moments that made me cringe a little, but overall loved it!

With a name like Big Nick Energy I assumed this was gonna be a fun, silly book but instead I cried three times and felt so many things. I loved it so much.

This is such a cute read to get you into the holiday spirit. Shae met someone online and went on a date with him; as it turns out, they realized very quickly that they were better off as friends, but that does not stop him from mentioning her to his dad for months before they officially meet on Thanksgiving. She has two daughters and just got out of a nasty divorce, and Nick makes the mistake of mentioning the elf that has to be moved around. She is tired and does not want help from anyone. However, Nick wanted to make the holidays special for the girls, but getting to move the elf around every night gave him time to get to know their mom. I love that Nick kept showing up for his girls and tore down their walls to show them what they deserve.

I couldn’t decide between 2.5 or 3 but ultimately went with 3 ⭐️ because I did enjoy reading it, it just has no staying power for me.

Shae & Nicks story was cute, and I enjoyed how patient and amazing Nick was with her. I liked hearing about the mischief the elf on the shelf was up to, and the story overall was a cute Christmas novella- but…. I wanted more spice!

We didn’t get any action till over 50% in, and it was a very slow burn that I feel wasn’t fulfilling once it happened.

But, I like how sweet Nick was and how devoted of a mother Shae was and it was easy to read so 3 ⭐️ it is! Recommend if you need a little palate cleanser and want some Christmas themed romance!

This book was *chefs kiss*. Spectacular. Perfect. Top read of the holiday season and probably going on my top reads for the year list!

Why is Nick EVERYTHING?!?!

Love his heart, vulnerability, patience, and confidence! Goodness, he is something!

This story bounces back and forth between Nick, a christmas tree farm owner, and Shae, a single mom who is going through a divorce and has sole custody of her two girls. When Shae gets on a dating app and swipes right on Nick's son she quickly realizes they are only meant to be friends. But Nick's son know that Shae would be the perfect woman for his dad, another single parent. When they are introduced there are so many blunders and missteps, but when Nick puts his foot in his mouth and adds more to Shae already overflowing plate, he spends the holiday season helping give Shae and the girls a holiday season they will always remember!

This is a great, heartfelt read with lots of great back and forth!
